Pakistan's international boxing star Usman Wazir has secured his 13th consecutive win in a thrilling match against Thai opponent Jatsada Sigmantsk in Bangkok, Thailand.

Wazir dominated the fight, knocking out the Thai boxer in the third round, maintaining his undefeated record.

Usman Wazir, who holds the World Youth Title, Asian Title, and Middle East Title, expressed pride in his achievements that have brought recognition to Pakistan and Gilgit-Baltistan. He noted that no other Pakistani boxer has ever won these prestigious titles.

Despite his success, Wazir revealed the financial struggles he faced, including being unable to deposit the fee for his title defense due to a lack of government support.

"It's a pleasure to win the fight, but it is a pity not to get the support of the government despite their promises," Wazir said. Consequently, his World Youth Title was withdrawn without a fight.

Wazir emphasized that his titles were won for Pakistan through nine years of continuous hard work and self-help, underscoring the need for better support for athletes from the government.
