Pakistan Cricket Team's Senior Manager and Member of the Selection Committee, Wahab Riaz, has submitted a detailed performance report to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) following the team's disappointing performance in the T20 World Cup.
According to sources, Riaz handed the report to Director of International Cricket Usman Wahla.
In his assessment, Riaz highlighted several key issues.
The report stated that Pakistan should have won crucial matches against India and the United States. The team did not play up to their potential and failed to execute their plans effectively.
Riaz emphasized the need for players to participate more in domestic cricket to hone their skills and build better team coordination.
The report pointed out that the team lacked proper coordination and failed to follow the given strategies during the World Cup matches.
Riaz suggested that the Pakistan A team should embark on more tours to gain valuable international experience.
The PCB is expected to review the report and take necessary actions to address the highlighted issues to improve the team's future performance.
