CNG stations reopen in Sindh

The CNG stations Monday reopened their businesses in Sindh including Karachi after a gap of three days, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Sui Southern Gas Pipelines Limited (SSGPL) authorities also resumed gas supply to the industries and Capto power plant.

Last week, the gas crisis hit the port city Karachi and citizens faced severe difficulties amid the unavailability of the gas supply at mealtimes.

Some of the areas in Karachi that faced massive gas shortages and low gas pressure were Lyari, Baldia Town, Orangi Town, Saddar, DHA, Punjab Colony, Moosa Colony, Hijrat Colony, Sultanabad, Landhi, Malir, Korangi and Faqeer Colony are some of the worst affected areas. The gas supply had been routinely disrupted in the morning and evening meal time.
