Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) caravan led by Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz Sharif reached Rawat on Monday night.
Party workers warmly welcomed the participants of the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) Mehnai Mukao March participants.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the PML-N workers chanted slogans of “Sher” (lion) and “Go Niazi Go” while Maryam and Hamza encouraged their workers to wave their hands from the vehicle.
On the other hand, a big stage has been decorated with different anti-PM Imran slogans at the G-9 Ground in Islamabad for the public meeting of the marchers.
While the leaders of opposition parties including Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), PML-N, Balochistan National Party (BNP) and Awami National Party (ANP) have appeared on the stage.
ANP convoy led by Secretary-General Mian Iftikhar Hussain arrived at the venue. ANP members of the provincial assembly are also participating in the long march.
