Gold price in Pakistan on Tuesday surged by Rs1,000 per tola, as per the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The association data showed the price of 24 karats of pure gold has reached Rs2,05,600 per tola after a new increase in prices in the local market.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the price of 10-gram gold of 24 karats is increased by Rs857 and traded at Rs1,76,268 per 10 grams.
In the international market, the price of gold also increased by US$7 per ounce to US$1,957 per ounce.
On the other hand, the prices of pure silver of 24 karats remained sustained in the local market and traded at Rs2,250 per tola and Rs1,929 per 10 grams.
