Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Thursday met with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur at the Chief Minister's House in Peshawar.

The high-profile meeting focused on discussing the security dynamics of the province and the recent surge in terrorist activities. Both leaders expressed their unwavering commitment to eradicate terrorism from the region, emphasizing the need for intensified intelligence-based operations.

The talks also addressed the tragic loss of Chinese citizens in a recent suicide attack, with both Naqvi and Gandapur conveying their deepest condolences and assuring full support to the Chinese government and the bereaved families. They vowed to bring the perpetrators and facilitators of the attack to justice, reinforcing that such acts of violence would not weaken Pakistan's resolve against terrorism.

Interior Minister Naqvi issued directives for enhanced coordination among security agencies to effectively counter terrorist threats, while Chief Minister Gandapur declared law and order as the top priority of his administration, promising to leverage all resources to safeguard the citizens of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The meeting concluded with a strong message of resilience, as both leaders agreed that the fight against terrorism is pivotal for the nation's survival and pledged full cooperation to overcome this challenge.
