Senior Pakistani actresses Saba Hamid and Ifat Omar have been spotted delving into the detailed discussion regarding the 'awkward' topic of Colourism while revealing their huge struggles and experiences with their ‘brown’ skin complexions during the Pakistani entertainment industry.

Saba Hamid has lately made an attendance for an interview session with Ifat Omar during which she has been asked if she faced any density due to her skin complexion to which the lady responded very confidently and honestly with a claim: “I never faced colourism showbiz.”

However, the host Iftat Omar chimed into the discussion and disclosed that she has faced huge discrimination due to her darker skin tone as she mostly being assigned negative roles which are usually considered suitable for dark faces.

Here are the exact words Saba and Ifat offered in the Interview session grabbing attention on social media:

Saba Hameed: "Iffat, I am very blessed because I spent all my life thinking I was fair-skinned. This (colourism) was not a problem back then, it became one later. I learned very late that there was a person who was dark-skinned and she wasn’t cast because of that. Very talented, very beautiful, tall and size zero type situation.

Iffat: “With me, this has happened a lot. For my skin colour, people conceive very negative acting roles. Negative roles have more meat. Otherwise, all you have to say is aao khaana kha lo (come and have food).
