The Balochistan government Friday strongly condemned the recent wave of terrorism in the province, with senior ministers vowing to take decisive action against anti-national elements, reported 24NewsHd TV channel.
In a joint press conference, Provincial Ministers Zahoor Buledi, Shoaib Nosherwani and government spokesperson Shahid Rind addressed the recent terrorist incidents in Jaffar Express, Gwadar, and Quetta.
Zahoor Buledi lamented the targeting of innocent civilians, stating that passengers were taken hostage in the Jaffar Express attack, which was widely condemned across the globe.
He also highlighted the tragic incident in Gwadar, where passengers were taken off a bus and martyred, and the Quetta explosion that claimed the life of Dr. Mehrullah Tareen. He asserted that anti-national elements are behind these acts, seeking to destabilize the region and hinder its progress.
Shoaib Nosherwani acknowledged the issues of deprivation and poor governance in Balochistan but assured that the government is actively working on improvements. He stressed that terrorism would be eliminated with the cooperation of the people.
Shahid Rind, the provincial government spokesperson, reiterated that the Balochistan government has a clear stance against terrorism and is committed to resolving issues through dialogue.
He revealed that the Chief Minister has extended an offer to the opposition for talks to address grievances. However, he warned that those who kill in the name of identity will face strict action.
The ministers assured that no terrorist elements will be spared, and the government remains steadfast in its commitment to restoring peace and stability in Balochistan.
