Karachi Kings have announced key changes to their coaching staff ahead of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, appointing Ravi Bopara as the new head coach. Meanwhile, Mohammad Masroor, who has been associated with the franchise for a long time, has been given the additional role of high-performance coach.
Bopara, a familiar name for Karachi Kings' fans, was part of the team as a player from 2016 to 2019 and even captained the side in 2016. He later transitioned into coaching, serving as batting coach in 2023 and assistant coach in 2024 before taking on the head coach role this season.
Mohammad Masroor has also been a key figure in the Karachi Kings’ coaching setup, previously working as a fielding coach and assistant coach. His expanded role as high-performance coach reflects the team’s confidence in his expertise.
Welcoming the new appointments, Karachi Kings’ management expressed enthusiasm about working with Bopara, while also extending their gratitude to former head coach Phil Simmons for his contributions and wishing him success in the future.
