The robbers looted rupees one million and 57 tolas gold jewellery from a house in the Mughalpura area of Lahore, reported 24News HD TV channel.
As per details, the robbers entered the house of Haji Akmal with a half-kg packet of sweets as the family was celebrating the birth of a boy baby.
The robbers hid their pistol in the packet of sweets.
They held hostage the family and looted jewellery worth rupees six million and one million in cash.
On information, the police reached the spot and started investigations.
