An accountability court (AC) in Karachi on Saturday issued a notice to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor after former finance minister Abdul Hafeez Shaikh and other suspects challenged the reference filed against them, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Shaikh and others had been nominated in the case of allegedly causing the loss of $11.125 million to the national exchequer through corruption in the development of a software for Port Qasim and other ports of the country.
Later, the court adjourned hearing of the case until June 25.
