Rain coupled with strong winds and thunderstorm is expected on Saturday (today) and Sunday (tomorrow), in Upper Punjab, Islamabad, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir, reported 24NewsHD TV channel quoting Pakistan Meteorological Department.
The weather office predicted mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country while very hot in South Punjab and upper Sindh.
In Multan, weather will remain hot and dry and mercury could go maximum up to 45 degree Celsius and minimum at 29 degree Celsius.
In Dera Ghazi Khan, the weather office predicted a heat wave as maximum temperature could go up to 45 degree Celsius and minimum temperature could go up to 28 degree Celsius.
Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country, while very hot in plain areas. However rain-winds/thunderstorms occurred in Islamabad, Upper Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir.
