A 22-year-old girl died during treatment at Sargodha DHQ Teaching Hospital due to alleged negligence of a doctor, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The family members of deceased girl Alishba Naveed accused a trainee lady doctor of giving wrong injection to her.
After the death of the girl, her family members protested outside the hospital where the doctors and protestors scuffled with each other.
According to hospital sources the allegation of negligence on the doctor is not true because when the girl was brought for treatment, her condition was critical.
However, a case was registered against doctors and gaurds in police station factory area.
In the case, the relatives of the deceased patient, men and women, were subjected to torture, tearing of clothes and provisions for habeas.
