Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Malik Amjad Zubair Tiwana Monday said the board's target in the next financial year may be more than 12,000 billion rupees.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, FBR Chairman Amjad Tiwana in an informal talk with the media said the registration of a businessman-friendly scheme will be further extended in the next financial year.
The FBR chairman said various proposals for tax targeting and tax collection are under consideration. He said plans are also being made to improve the efficiency of the track and trace system and expand its scope further.
FBR Chairman Amjad Tiwana said they are trying to complete the tax target for the current financial year. He added that the steps will be taken in the finance bill to bring non-filers into the tax net.
