In his recent live concert in Mumbai, Indian singer-songwriter Arijit Singh sang viral Coke Studio song Pasoori.
A video of his live performance has surfaced online, and it is taking turns on social media for all the right reasons.
Chances are that his soulful version of the song may leave you both amazed and amused.
The video was posted on Instagram by a user Aayushman Sinha. "Surreal night, surreal vibe! @arijitsingh has possibly the biggest catalogue of hits, but he still makes it a point to cover music he loves and appreciates! #Pasoori has a new rendition and boy it is beautiful!" read the caption shared along with the video with a heart emoticon.
After the video went viral and also during the live concert of Arijit Singh there was no disruption caused by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as they were against Pakistani content and had banned Pakistani singers and actors but Arijit Singh’s concert had gone smoothly.
He also tagged Pakistani singers Ali Sethi and Shae Gill and composer Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan, better known as Xulfi who sang Pasoori officially in Coke Studio season 14.
Since being shared a day ago, the video has raked up 3.3 lakh views, and the numbers are only increasing. The video has even prompted people to post heartfelt comments.
"King nails everything he sings," posted an individual. "Absolutely surreal. I was there and it was so good I cried," commented another. "Next level. Each and every note. Perfect cover.
