Passenger with fake travel documents nabbed at Islamabad Airport

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Monday arrested a man from the International Airport Islamabad for trying to travel abroad using fake visa, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

According to FIA sources, a passenger named Khurram had been arrested by FIA Immigration cell officials at Islamabad airport over possessing fake travel documents. They said the passenger arrived was set to fly to Spain from Islamabad, but was caught at the immigration counter of the FIA.

The passenger was referred to the shift in-charge Mohammad Salim for verification of travel documents. A fake Spain visa was affixed on the passport presented by the passenger. The accused was offloaded from the plane and arrested at the airport. 

 FIA officials have shifted the arrested person to Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Islamabad for further legal action. 

During investigation, the accused revealed that he had obtained the visa by paying Rs 15 lakh.
