Shahzad Akbar, PTI leader and adviser to former prime minister Imran Khan, who is currently living in London, on Monday said a man threw acid at him last evening and fled, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
In his post on X, formerly known as Twitter, he thanked The Almighty Allah that the assassin did not succeed in his attempt. “Police and the emergency services reached on time because they had prior information about the attack,” he said, adding, “The attackers can never succeed in their designs. They cannot dent my confidence. My confidence is unshakeable.”
