Pakistani actress Shazeal Shoukat has faced heavy criticism on social media after she opened up about her struggles with the Urdu language.
The lady has appeared on Momin’s Saqib show ‘Had Kardi’ where she confessed that she gets embarrassed when she doesn't speak Urdu correctly.
During the span of the interview, Shazeal revealed the most embarrassing moment of her life.
The actress said:
“I get embarrassed when I don’t speak Urdu correctly, yeah man, I feel very embarrassed. I don’t feel good when I speak Urdu like that.
It’s not embarrassing embarrassment but people don’t understand”
Netizens trolled her for flexing about not knowing Urdu that too with pride and brought attention to her uneven English accent, contributing to the impression that she is a language-illiterate actor and labelled her as ‘Bunkabab’.

The host Momin Saqib also came under fire as he said to Shazeal’s statement that:
“It’s okay! Urdu is just another language, it’s a way to communicate, don’t feel embarrass about not knowing it. you should own yourself.
It is not about how you say, its about what you say.”
However, netizens started schooling that Urdu is not just another language, it is our national language.
