Pakistan’s Kamran Ghulam hit a 99-ball maiden century to help his team build a fighting total in the third and final one-day international against Zimbabwe being played in Bulawayo today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
At the end of the 50 overs, Pakistan have set Zimbabwe a target of 304 runs to win the third ODI and the series.
Kamran Ghulam hit 103, Abdullah Shafique 50, captain Muhammad Rizwan 37 and opener Saim Ayub 31.
Earlier, Pakistan captain Muhammad Rizwan won the toss and elected to bat first in the third and final one-day international against Zimbabwe.
Pakistan and Zimbabwe are clashing in the final ODI as both teams have won one match each levelling the three-match series 1-1.
Zimbabwe captain Craig Ervine said he would have bowled first as well, so both skippers went back to their dressing rooms happy.
Pakistan are unchanged, while Zimbabwe have made two changes with Clive Madande and Faraz Akram coming in for Trevor Gwandu and Brandon Mavuta.

In the last match on Tuesday, Pakistani bowlers had dismissed the Zimbabwe team for just 145 runs in 32.3 overs and the openers chased down the target in just 18.2 overs, winning the match by 10 wickets.
Pakistan’s Saim Ayub made his maiden century, scoring an unbeaten 113 runs off 62 balls. Abdullah Shafique supported him with 32 runs off 48 balls. Saim Ayub’s innings included 17 fours and 3 sixes.
Zimbabwe won the first one-dayer by 80 runs in the rain-affected match played on last Sunday.
