Pakistan team’s vice-captain Shadab Khan has been ruled out from the first Zimbabwe One Day International to be played at Pindi Cricket Stadium on Friday.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board’s release the leg-spinner suffered from stiffness in his left upper-leg during the first intra-squad warm-up match in Lahore on 23 October.
The PCB’s medical team confirmed Wednesday that captain Shadab will be unavailable for selection for the first ODI.
Shadab will continue to be treated and rehabilitation regime and a further update will be provided ahead of the second ODI, the statement added.
