It seems that chances of Abdul Quddus Bizenjo to acquire chief minstership of Balochistan are pretty good especially after his rival PTI contender Yar Muhammad Rind stands down in his favour, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

The Balochistan Assembly will elect its Leader of the House tomorrow (Friday) and the session will be commenced at 10am. Later, in the evening, the governor will take oath from the elected chief minister.

On the other hand, the Pakistan Democratic Movement is in a fix whether the alliance would support Bizenjo or not. The leaders of the allied parties have started consulting each other on the issue. There are reports of robust contacts between JUI (F), BNP (M) and PkMAP.

Meanwhile, Balochistan Governor Syed Zahoor Agha accepted the resignation of provincial assembly speaker Bizenjo.

Bizenjo tendered his resignation from the office of Balochistan Assembly speaker on Oct 25 as he wanted to contest the election of chief minister.
