A Pakistani-Chinese citizen was killed in a shooting at a dental clinic in Saddar area of Karachi, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
The doctor and his wife, who are also dual nationals, sustained serious in the Sindh Capital.
The deceased is Ronald Raymond Chou while the injured are Dr Richard and his wife Margaret.
Reportedly, an unidentified gunman visited the clinic as a patient and carried out the attack on his turn.
The injured couple was rushed to Jinnah Hospital from where they were shifted to Agha Khan Hospital.
Police reached the spot and started an investigation.
Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah took notice of the gruesome incident and sought a report from the Sindh chief secretary.
He extended condolence over the demise and vowed to bring to book the culprit.
Such incidents are intolerable and the security of the Chinese residents should be ensured in every way, the minister maintained.
