Muhammad Shafiq, a political follower of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and vice president Fawad Chaudhry confessed his involvement in defaming the state institutes and agencies on social media.
Muhammad Shafiq, a resident of Jhelum confessed in a video message on social media that on the directions of his leader Imran Khan and Fawad Chaudhry, he initially saved a mobile number of a friend in the name of a ‘Private Number’ in his phone set and then made a request to give him a threat.
In response to his friend’s threat on his own request on a phone, Shafiq said he also gave a threat to the same friend on the phone.
Shafiq said they (both friends) gave an impression to others that they have received some threats from some secret institutions or agencies on their phone numbers.
Later, they made these calls [from Private Number] viral on social media to disgrace and defame the institutes to which he apologizes to the institution.
He also gave a message to the youth that they should not harm the country on the provocation of any political leader like Imran Khan and Fawad Chaudhry.
Shafiq further advised the youth that they should support the institution.
