The central leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Khawaja Asif, said on Thursday that there was no truth to Shehbaz Sharif taking a message of the establishment to London, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
While talking to the media in Sialkot, Khawaja Asif said that the news about Shehbaz Sharif kept circulating that he stayed for two days [in Pakistan] and went back [to London].
“Some things are discussed in person, not on the phone,” the former defence minister pointed out.
He said that Shehbaz Sharif held discussions with Nawaz Sharif on elections and other political issues.
“Nawaz Sharif will return on October 21. It’s final. We are making full preparations for Nawaz Sharif’s return,” he added.
“No one can talk about the arrest of Nawaz Sharif on his return. Our former law minister Azam Nazeer Tarar is looking into the matter,” he stated.
It is to be noted here that the news circulated in the media that Shehbaz Sharif met an important person in Gujranwala after his arrival in Pakistan, and he left for London the next day with a message of establishment for Nawaz Sharif.
