West Cantonment Police arrested a fake senior superintendent of police (SSP) from KB Colony of Lahore on Friday, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
According to police, the accused who was identified as Nadeem was involved in extorting money from public by introducing himself as SSP.
The police and other law enforcement agencies (LEAs) also recovered forged and fake identity card of police from the fake SSP.
The police also recovered a fake presidential Sitara-e-Jurrat from the fake officer’s possession, while other fake stumps of different government departments were also seized by the police.
The police registered am FIR against the fake SSP and started investigation.
