A boy shot himself after injuring two college girls with pistol shots in the Naseerabad area of Faisalabad on Monday morning.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the accused boy was identified as Shiraz, a resident of Sargodha Road, who ambushed two female students on their way to college.
Accused Shiraz targeted girls named Amina and Alishba when they came out of the home to go to college. Both the girls sustained sever gunshots wounds who were rushed by the locals to Civil Hospital for medical treatment.
When the locals attempted to apprehend the accused Shiraz turned the weapon on himself and shot himself in the abdomen.
The locals also rushed accused Shiraz to another hospital--Allied Hospital for treatment.
Mansoorabad Police arrived at the hospital to initiate legal proceedings, but the motives behind the shooting remain unclear.
