K-Electric sought a massive hike of Rs18.86 per unit in electricity price in connection with accumulative rise in tariff of last seven months on monthly fuel adjustment basis.

K-Electric has filed an application with the Nepra seeking raise in power rate from July 2023 to March 2024.

The Nepra will take up K-Electric’s plea on May 9.
