Cabinet could not decide on relief to consumers in electricity bills

The federal cabinet’s meeting on Tuesday could not decide on relief to consumers in electricity bills, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The cabinet meeting, chaired by Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, also could not decide on free electricity for the employees of the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) and power distribution companies (DISCOs).
The cabinet directed the Energy Division to formulate a procedure for relief in electricity bills.
The cabinet meeting entrusted the issue of outsourcing Islamabad Airport to the steering committee.
The meeting approved the contract with the Hong Kong Examination Authority.
It also approved the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on vocational training between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
It also approved the signing of an MoU between Pakistan and Belarus.
It also approved an extension in the tenure of the chairman of the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB).
