Under the summary, additional security will be provided to the companies busy drilling in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan to discover oil and gas.

Similarly, more contingents of the law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) will be deployed to provide security to the companies conducting surveys in the erstwhile tribal areas to search minerals.

The summary states that additional security will be provided to the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) working in

collaboration with the Mari Petroleum and Shiva Gas Pipeline.

Similarly, the security provided to Alhaaj Company and other firms would also be increased.

As per the summary, 40 platoons of the Frontier Constabulary would be deployed to guard employees of the firms working in KP against any terror attack, and that retired army personnel and jawans from the Civil Armed Forces would be recruited in these platoons on contractual basis.
