Two passengers who were trying to fly to Italy with fake travel documents were offloaded by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration at Quetta Airport on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The FIA spokesman said that the passengers, identified as Farhan Ahmed and Parvez Muhammad, belonged to the Gujranwala and Sheikhupura districts of Punjab.

They presented fake resident cards of Italy and passports with fake stamps of arrival and departure abroad.

The FIA checked their travel records and found no evidence of their previous travels.

The spokesman said that the passengers had paid a total of Rs3.7 million to some agents for obtaining the fake documents. The FIA has transferred the passengers to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Quetta for further legal action.
