Accusing the successive PTI governments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) of doing nothing except committing massive corruption, Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar said on Sunday that he wanted to release a ‘White Paper’ on the issue, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore, Tarar said that bogus companies were made in KP for corruption. “Those who used to ridicule Lahore’s metro bus by calling it a ‘jangla bus’, then went on to introduce a metro bus service in Peshawar,” he added.
He said just like people in KP gave their mandate to the PTI, similarly people in Punjab gave a ‘clear mandate’ to the PML-N.
The minister said he wanted to tell the KP government that it just could not befool the people of the province by making tall claims. “The provincial government would claim that it had built 500 dams. But they are nowhere to be seen.”
“You took revenge on the people of Punjab by installing Usman Buzdar as the chief minister. And now you are doing the same thing with the people of KP,” Tarar added.
He claimed that the Punjab government was doing quite well under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
