Man kills wife for honour in Layyah

A man killed his wife in the name of honour in the Jhakkar Katcha area of Layyah, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to the police, the husband strangled his wife with the help of his accomplices and threw the body into the river. 
Police register a case against the accused persons and start action against them.
Meanwhile, two motorcyclists were killed and one was injured by the firing of armed men in Sukkur on Sunday. The bodies of the two deceased and the injured person were shifted to Taqla Hospital for treatment. Police said the deceased have been identified as Salman Chachar and Karim Bakhsh Chachar. 
The injured person Nazir Chachar was shifted to Sukkur for treatment. The incident took place over old enmity between two groups in the Chachar community.
