Peshawar Zalmi defeated Lahore Qalandars by 16 runs in their Pakistan Super League 2020 clash at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Friday night.
The match was reduced to 12-overs-a-side as persistent rain and a wet outfield delayed the start of the match by two hours. The toss took place at around 9:30pm, which the Qalandars won and decided to field first.
Peshawar Zalmi posted 132 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their 12 overs. Banton and Haider Ali scored 34 runs each, while Qalandars Dilbar Hussain took 4-24.
In reply, Qalandars only manged to score 116 runs for the loss of 6 wickets after 12 overs. Chris Lynn scored 30 runs and Fakhar Zaman made 22 runs. Zalmi’s Gregory took 4-25.
