With a belligerent opposition in full presence chanting noisy slogans, it is almost impossible the National Assembly session passes without an unusual incident. The same happened during the maiden session of the 16th National Assembly in Islamabad on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

As PML-N Quaid and three-time former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was shaking hands with outgoing speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf after signing the Roll of Signatures a plastic-made facemask reflecting PTI founder chairman Imran Khan’s face was tossed on Nawaz Sharif.

The facemask came down flying on the PML-N supremo, brushed his back and landed on the right shoulder of PML-N nominee for prime minister’s slot Shehbaz Sharif.

As soon as Shehbaz Sharif laid an eye on the facemask resting on his shoulder, PML-N leader from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Muqam picked it up and threw it away

During the Thursday’s proceedings, PTI-supported candidates were seen facemasks reflecting Imran Khan’s face.
