Admitting that lots of things were connected to the country’s economy, former prime minister and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif said on Wednesday he was confident that the new government would put the economy back on track, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to journalists at Parliament House, he said if the economy was resurrected, everything would be streamlined. “Insha Allah, the PML-N- led government will not only improve the economy but will also improve the political situation,” the former prime minister hoped.
He dispelled the impression that there was political instability in the country.
He said he prayed to the Almighty Allah that the present assemblies and Senate completed their term.
Earlier, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif welcomed the PML-N supremo on arrival.
