The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Friday accepted the pre-arrest bail application of former Sindh chief minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah in lieu of Rs0.3 million bail bonds in a case of misuse of powers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The court also directed Qaim to cooperate with the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) investigation team.
The court also issued notices to NAB DG and others to appear on the next hearing.
NAB has accused Syed Qaim Ali Shah of getting 43 acres of land at Brohi Goth in North Nazimabad allotted ‘illegally’.
Counsel for the former chief minister, on the other hand, has termed NAB’s notice based on mala fide intent.
