The central leader of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and the general secretary of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri on Sunday shifted the blame onto the PTI for economic meltdown and said that fixing the economy would take some time, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He said that PTI was wailing after the arrest of just two or three leaders.
While castigating the PTI, he said that the false promises of PTI to strengthen the economy were merely hollow and bogus as it did nothing for the crippling economy. “The PTI also claimed to provide jobs to 10 million youths but nothing was materialised till date.”
He criticized the PTI for not constructing the 50 lac homes as promised.
“Dollar took high flight in Imran-led government and PTI also dented the relation with IMF by reneging the pact,” he alleged, adding that PTI deteriorated the country’ economy to the point where nothing is under control.
Despite claiming to be Sadiq (the Truthful) and Ameen (the Honest), Maulana thundered that Imran Khan had stolen expensive watches from Toshakhana.
“We are trying day and night to fix the economy to save the country from going bankrupt” he claimed.
