Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has cautioned against what he termed as a conspiracy to secure a fourth premiership bid on February 8, urging voters to thwart such schemes through stamping on PPP’s election symbol- aero, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a charged address at Rawalpindi's Liaquat Bagh on Sunday, he accused the opposition of attempting to mislead the electorate, emphasizing the need for voters to exercise discernment and foil any designs aimed at securing a fourth premiership.

Highlighting the historical significance of Liaquat Bagh, where his grandfather, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, delivered his final speech, Bilawal underscored the pivotal role of the people in determining the nation's political trajectory, asserting that true power resides with the populace.

The PPP Chairman condemned what he termed as a revival of outdated political tactics, asserting that power emanates from the people and not from backdoor arrangements orchestrated by political elites.

Expressing concern over the country's current state, Bilawal Bhutto emphasized the need for a united front against economic turmoil and the resurgent threat of terrorism.

He stressed that only the PPP possessed the vision and capability to navigate Pakistan through the political and economic challenges being faced by the country.

Warning against the resurgence of extremist elements, Bilawal Bhutto declared that Pakistan would not succumb to the dictates of radical ideologies.

He asserted that the PPP stood as a bulwark against forces seeking to undermine the country's constitutional framework.

Taking a jibe at PTI, he asserted that the PTI's interests have been compromised by vested interests.

PPP Chairman said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf did not get its election symbol because their lawyers went to the Supreme Court without preparation, so crocodile tears should not be shed now. “PTI suffered due to planted people.”
