PTI ticket-holder withdraws in favour of PPP candidates

A Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf ticket-holder from Mirpurkhas contesting on two seats has announced joining the Pakistan Peoples Party and withdrew his nomination papers in support of PPP candidates, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.


PTI candidate Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah who was vying for NA-212 and PS-46 announced to quit his party and joined the PPP.


He called on PPP central leader Faryal Talpur and expressed his desire to join the Pakistan Peoples Party.


He withdrew his nomination papers from NA 212 and PS 46 in support of PPP candidates - Mir Munawwar Ali Khan Talpur and Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah – who are contesting on these two seats, respectively.
