Cabinet Division releases Tosha Khana record from March 2023 to Dec 31, 2024

Cabinet Division has released Tosha Khana records from March 2023 to December 31, 2024. During the last 2 years, government officials received books, decoration pieces, souvenirs, watches as gifts. The other gifts include teapots, carpets, shawls and daggers, prayers mat, pens, cups, perfumes and handkerchiefs. The most of the recipients deposited their gifts in Tosha Khana. 

During the period, Prime Minister M Shahbaz Sharif, Bilawal Bhutto, Arif Alvi, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Darko, former Caretaker PM Anwarul Haq Kakar, Punjab Chief Minister Punjab and Defense Minister Khawaja Asif received valuable gifts. 

The former Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa also received a gift. The other beneficiaries include Aseefa Bhutto, Senator Talha Mehmood, Tariq Fatemi, Finance Minister Aurangzeb, Economic Affairs Minister Ahad Cheema, Law Minister Nazir Tarar, Mussadik Malik, Rana Sanaullah, Shah Zain Bugti and Commerce Minister Jam Kamal received the gifts. The recipients of the gifts included Atta Tarar, Yusuf Raza Gilani, FBR chairman Rashid Langrial, Vice Admiral Abdul Samad, President Zardari's Military Secretary Brigadier Munir Hafeez, Prime Minister's Military Secretary, Major General Tanisha Mumtaz, Prime Minister's Chief Security Officer Muhammad Imran, Foreign Secretary Amina Baloch, former Caretaker Finance Minister Shamshad Akhtar, former Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani, Former Caretaker IT Minister Dr Umar Saif, former Caretaker Minister Gohar Ejaz, ex Minister Muhammad Ali also received gifts. Besides politicians, bureaucrats and others also received gifts. 

In March 2023, the Shahbaz government had formulated a new procedure regarding gifts. The recipient is allowed to keep a gift worth up to $300. Gifts worth more than 300 dollars will be owned by Toshakhana.
