PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said on Wednesday that despite the government’s ruthless crackdown on the PTI workers, former prime minister and the party founder Imran Khan took a lead by offering talks to the government, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Speaking to the media outside the district courts in Islamabad, he said the government did not want to hold negotiations so that a solution could be found to the situation presently existing in the country.
Barrister Gohar said that the government did not respond to the PTI’s demands, including the formation of a judicial commission, which showed non-seriousness on its part. He said nobody was above the law.
