Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi has announced that all preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 are complete, promising to make the tournament a historic and unforgettable event, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Wednesday.

During his visit to Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Mohsin Naqvi inspected the upgradation project’s progress and reviewed the finishing work in various sections, including the pavilion, media box, and VIP enclosures.

The PCB chairman also assessed the proposed security arrangements for the teams and expressed satisfaction with the stadium’s renovation efforts.

Mohsin Naqvi confirmed that Rawalpindi Stadium’s refurbishment is in its final stages, with the main pavilion and media box already completed.

Highlighting further progress, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi stated, “The installation of new seats will be completed within a few days.”

He emphasised the significance of this tournament, saying, “After a long time, Pakistan is hosting an ICC event, and we hope cricket fans will witness some of the best matches.”

Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium is set to host three key matches in the Champions Trophy 2025, which begins on February 19:

1) February 24: Bangladesh vs New Zealand,

2) February 25: Australia vs South Africa, and

3) February 27: Pakistan vs Bangladesh
