The trailer of Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal's upcoming film 'Chhaava' has been released after which the netizens are comparing the actor with Ranveer Singh for his film 'Bajirao Mastani'.

Vicky Kaushal impressed the audience with the trailer of the much-anticipated drama Chhaava which has been creating waves across social media.

The viewers have found themselves comparing Vicky with Ranveer over his accent, strong dialogue delivery, and overall performance in the series.

“Nothing against Vicky though, his energy and hard work in the trailer are fab, but some authenticity is missing. I think it has to do with the diction. In this generation of commercial mainstream actors, I don’t see anyone experimenting with and nailing accents as much as Ranveer does. Accents can be quite tough", one user said.

While Vicky is undoubtedly a talented actor, it seems that when it comes to nailing accents and diction, Ranveer's dedication and attention to linguistic detail have placed him in a league of his own. In the end though, both actors continue to impress audiences with their performances in the genre.

Chhaava's director to remove controversial dance scene amid trolls

Laxman Utekar, the director of the upcoming film Chhaava, has vowed to remove a controversial dance scene after meeting with Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Raj Thackeray.

The scene shows Vicky and Rashmika Mandanna dancing with the Lezim, a traditional instrument from Maharashtra, which had sparked objections from several political figures and historical experts.

Here is what the director said, “I have decided to delete those scenes where we have shown Sambhaji Maharaj was doing lezim (Maharashtra folk) dance.

“I have met Raj Thackeray. He is an avid reader and studious person. So, I have taken some suggestions and guidance from him. And I can say his words are very helpful to me.

“Lezim dance is not a big deal. Sambhaji Maharaj is very much bigger than the Lezim dance. So we are going to remove those scenes from the film,” Utekar maintained.

Furthermore, the filmmaker also mentioned that a special premiere of the period movie has been organized on January 29, for the historians and experts to watch the film and offer their guidance.

"Raj Thackeray is an avid reader and a studious person, so I found his guidance very helpful. Sambhaji Maharaj is much bigger than that Lezim dance, and we have decided to remove those scenes."
