Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Junaid Akbar Khan has resigned from chairmanship of National Assembly’s standing committee, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Junaid Akbar has left the chairmanship of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Overseas Pakistanis Affairs and Human Development.
He resigned after being elected chairman of the Parliamentary Public Accounts Committee because no member can chair two committees.
Junaid Akbar’s resignation has been received by the Speaker of the National Assembly.
