Quite often it is challenging to keep a drama going ahead at a steady and an interesting pace, but with 7th Sky Entertainment's Muqaddar, it is an entirely different case.
The drama is still continuing to win hearts, and that is a great achievement on its own, which can be attributed towards its great direction and brilliant storyline.
But then again, Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi, leading 7th Sky Entertainment, are known to have always opted to work on scripts that are well written and have a gripping tale to tell hence leading to hit dramas one after another.
Coming back to the Faysal Qureshi and Madiha Imam starrer Muqaddar, Tuesday night we found the story moving ahead at a steady pace. The focus has shifted from Saif and Raima towards Haris (Ali Ansari) and his new wife Maham (Shameen Khan), as well as a budding romance between Saad (Haroon Shahid) and Abeera (Sabeena Farooq).
With the focus of the drama on family, Harris is seen facing a tough time with Maham. One moment, they are fine with each other whereas the next he can't stand her which gives her, as well as us, a hint that their marriage is going to be a bumpy one. Still, we hope that their relationship does not become too unbearable where she will begin to plot against her mother in law.
While Harris is seen at crossroads, Saad, on the other hand, is warming towards Abeera and we are glad to see that, as both actors complement each other well and we hope a marriage does take place so they both can have a happily after.
As for Raima and Saif, we caught a glimpse of the duo at the end of the episode, where we saw Raima isn't threatened by Saif wanting to spend a night with his first wife Farkhanda and daughter Abeera.
But will Farkhanda be just as mature as Raima is what we can’t wait to see next week. With the promo, it seems that she won't like that Raima wants to shift in the house with her, but will Saif encourage her to change her attitude, or will matters worsen? We will have to wait and see till next Monday night at 8 PM.
