The contradiction between Justice Qazi Faez Isa's viewpoint and the Supreme Court declaration has come to the spotlight, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Thursday.
Justice Isa wrote a letter to the chief justice and the judicial commission members, demanding releasing the meeting minutes.
“After a detailed discussion, Justice Tariq Masood, Law Minister, Attorney General, Bar representative, and I rejected the appointment of 4 judges,” he stated, adding that the commission head did not dictate the decisions taken in the meeting.
The top court judge continued: “The chief justice got up and left the meeting and Justice Ejazul Ahsan followed him. Now it is the responsibility of the secretary to issue the minutes The nation’s eyes are fixed on the JC and knowing about decisions taken in the meeting is the constitutional right of the nation."
