Punjab CM opens four projects at Special Branch HQ

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz visited the Special Branch Headquarters where she inaugurated four projects.

Senator Pervaiz Rasheed, Information Minister Azma Bukhari, the chief secretary and other officials concerned were present.

The CM inaugurated the e-Learning Centre, Special Branch Digital Library, Ladies Lounge and Daycare Centre at the Special Branch Headquarters.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz took a picture with the children at the daycare and interacted with the people present there.

The chief minister was briefed about the branch and she scanned more than 100 years of records in the library.

 Maryam Nawaz said the Special Branch should continue performing valuable duty for the protection of life and property of the people.

All resources will be provided to the Special Branch to adapt it to modern requirements.

Artificial intelligence and advanced automation should be used to carry out security issues.
