Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Member National Assembly (MNA) from Karachi Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain's External Examination Report confirms zero sign of torture or injury on his dead body.
The 24News HD TV channel received a copy of the religious scholar and anchor Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain's External Examination Report on Wednesday.
According to the medical examination report, the X-ray of the body did not show any broken bones or signs of torture and injury.
Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain, 49, passed away at his residence in Karachi on Thursday, June 09, 2022. He was found unconscious at his home and shifted to a private hospital in a critical condition where he was declared dead a half-hour ago.
Karachi DIG (West) Police Muqaddas Haider had confirmed that Dr Aamir Liaquat had expired half an hour before he was shifted to a hospital. He had also told the media that there were no signs of torture found on Aamir Liaquat's body. He added initial reports had also shown that no foul play with the deceased's body.
Later a judicial magistrate in Karachi had ordered the exhumation as well as the post-mortem of the late religious scholar’s body on June 23 (Thursday) but the Sindh High Court (SHC) suspended the judicial magistrate's order and has halted the post-mortem.
