Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to visit Belarus for a two-day trip on April 10 and 11 to strengthen bilateral ties between the two nations following the Eid Al-Fitr celebrations.
Sources revealed on Saturday that discussions will take place between Prime Minister Shehbaz and Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko. The talks are aimed at fostering cooperation in investment, economic development, and other sectors, with a particular focus on the tractor industry in Pakistan.
In addition, the two leaders are expected to address the ongoing Ukraine-Russia conflict and discuss prospects for regional peace.
Separately, Prime Minister Shehbaz extended Eid Al-Fitr greetings to Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon during a phone call. He conveyed his best wishes for the prosperity and well-being of the people of Tajikistan.
During the conversation, the leaders discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations, and both expressed satisfaction with the progress made. Prime Minister Shehbaz also invited President Rahmon to visit Pakistan. Additionally, the premier acknowledged the historic border agreement recently signed between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
