Two children died allegedly after eating poisonous food near Alam Chowk in the limits of Aroop police station in Gujranwala, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
According to police, Mubashar had brought biryani from a nearby hotel for his entire family.
Shortly after eating biryani, the condition of young Abdul Hadi and Khazra deteriorated.
Both the children were taken to a nearby doctor, but the children were pronounced dead.
On receiving information, the police reached the spot and took the bodies into custody.
Police said Mubashar has contracted two marriages and the facts will come out after the medical report of the children.
